Friendship

For a short time i have been lost,
there was no way to find my way back,
i took the wrong turn and forgot the way,
i was stuck somewhere with no direction to go,
a vast area of space with nothing in any direction,
how i got there is of no importance,
the way back is what needs my full attention,
in the end i give up and fall down,
getting back up cant be done, something is needed,
to the shackles that hold me down,
when in the end the key was there
in front of me never moved, never noticed,
the understated key to the empty space,
the empty space disappears and i realize why,
why i was lost, and the how i got there,
there is no ending or start,
just a human emotion.
