Senseless arguments that sprout silence...
Sudden bursts of laughter that break the ice...
Such profound questions about this life we seek...

As the distance comes between us
My tears, for me have spoken
As time starts to forget us
I grieve my heart you've broken....

Away from you, I lose myself
clinging to every soul my hand has felt
yet since it's not you I'd fall and break...

the more I try to stop it
the more I fail to hold it
these tears fall like rain from sky

as promised, a love true
