Maura Hunt Poems
And you fade
Your mausoleum is your home now, where you're sheltered form all evil, but your life does not prevail here here in the lifeless dream made real.
You're alive in me.
So i drugged you up and drained you. Drained your blood out with this needle. And injected your blood into me. Your blood now runs through my viens.
Emptiness surrounds you as you fall into your sleep. You hunger for the truth, but your longing’s way too deep. You wrap yourself in anger; throw tantrums at your door, And you feel like dying now, so you dropp to the floor.
The Pain in Her Eyes
Look at the way she looks at you. Can’t you see the pain in her eyes? Can’t you see the tears on her cheeks? Now you ignore her, talk about her to her friends. You’ve turned them away from her. Are you happy now?
One last thing to say to you.
I'm going to silently crawl away from you. So you don't have to likeme. Intead of you leaving and hurting me, I'll leave you and hurt myself.
Words can hurt much more than you know.
4/13/08 Your words, they stung like an open wound. The oxygen too much for it to bare.
Silence in Death
the harsh sound of silence escapes me. that's because i can't remember what i'm supossed to say. you stare at me with empty eyes. Though no words come out,
My heart lies in peices on the floor But it doesn't really matter anymore. Nothing I said was ever good enough And the edges of my heart are jaged and rough
You're one step closer to the edge. One breath closer to the end, You're walking towards a flower on the ground, The chains around your ankles keep you bound.
Don't let the darkness consume you. You're much stronger than that. You're more a fighter than a peasant. You're more the sun than the moon
Listen, the dead are calling you to join them. They speak such wise words to convince you. Allow them to over-power you.
You want sympathy?
You try to make the world feel sorry for you. By complaining about yourself everytime you speak to it. You have no critical problems so look at the world around you suffering.
Don't touch that peice of glass, you know it has sharp edges. You know that it will cut you, But you continue to pick it up.
Stole your life
He destroyed your confidence, girl, He’s the cause of your pain, girl You got to be stronger than that, girl Innocent girl you once were.
Emptiness surrounds you as you fall into your sleep.
You hunger for the truth, but your longing’s way too deep.
You wrap yourself in anger; throw tantrums at your door,
And you feel like dying now, so you dropp to the floor.
You grab your knife and gun, and wonder which is slower,
You want to feel the pain before your life is really over.
You slice your wrists with diligence and there are blood stains on the floor.
You slowly bleed until there’s nothing left to bleed no more.
