Melvyn Mohan (South Africa)
Biography of Melvyn Mohan
Poetry is a form of expression that can never be critizised. A poet writes with his heart and soul, not his head.
When you write its self expression of the silent voice inside of you that has feelings and thoughts that no one can judge or destroy.
It opens doors inside you that no one can, its inspires greatness and delivers peace, its soothing and serene. Words are true when spoken from the soul.
there are many things i have learnt in life and many excuses to try rectify the mistakes, although the only thing that remains true is the potential and ability of a person to write a piece of poetry that comes from deep within them.
Although the raging thoughts do not make sense in their mind, it flows peacefully onto paper and reveals their passion in life.
Poetry is not taught, it is felt, dreamed and lived. It is an emotion that does not have a word for it, although it describes itself in every line and verse.
We reveal ourselves to the world when we write in hopes that we are not the only ones that feel this way and that someday someone will understand our thoughts.

I have become limited and constricted by boundaries that do not allow me success but only the failure of my dusty hands that riddle themselves with strengths and the only right of life that I have
