When you can
If asked to go back one day, hour, min, sec..what different would you do
What would you change how you did?

It’s so tiny but thirst for you,
Whilst thirsting comes with you
You need to be sustained. Just like tree you
Need to be watered. Natured.

Since you’ve been gone all I did was to wright for you.
You promised to wright back and reply all my mail,
Can’t tell why you went silent, can’t recall receiving anything from you.
I prayed and trusted that the angels are with you. It’s the least I could do.

People say ones love life is how you handle it. Don’t judge me yet,
I have been to others and if am alone it’s because I didn’t get the satisfaction.
Don’t talk of how ‘I handle it’ it’s a two way affair.
I wanted to but there was no reciprocation. But if…

You say I don’t cook, you say I don’t wash, you say I don’t spread our bed.
Ooh! ! Ok! ! I say the same about you… I say the same about you…

When You Can

When you can
If asked to go back one day, hour, min, sec..what different would you do
What would you change how you did?

If granted yesterday today, I would correct yester mistakes and please you.
When it vanished I realized I would have been better than how I was.
Today is here but am still living yesterday and past time.
Loading oneself with heavier baggage. Mistakes and regrets.
It will take time to offload but now that I know, let me make things right.

Take time to appreciate what you’ve got, before letting go,
Check around to see if there’s better than that.
Say I love you when you mean it and sorry when necessary,
Be grateful always. Don’t wait until you peep the grave to realize we don’t live forever.

With another chance I would sit down and solve with you our differences.
Than argue and push you to go for good.
I could offer some love and understanding and that would be us.
Listening more would be my virtue, and wishing good my ultimate hope.
Its happier a feeling when good you do to others than self.
Seeing ones satisfaction is mine too. But where’s extra chances, time has passed by.
