the birth of children in flushes of grain
the palace guards let me walk right through
the sacred garden where I was touched by you

Stone, my heart is stone
all around the stone stands firm
without shadows of past or present
it stands stone cold and firm

In darkness the evil slips in
the cloudy mind of ill
breaths upon the still shadows of myth
you turn toward the fire for warmth

The set is ready and everything is fine
the weather is perfect and so divine
The media is waiting holding their breath
The flowers of spring will show their best
...

Everywhere I have roamed I have found
that the people are not that much different
from the ones where I am now
Children need feeding and chores there are a plenty
