Come swift, calmly, come slow
Vigorous, vivacious, straining
Drink fresh, Salvation's Flow

Do friends and neighbours Jesus know?
Your family, about hell?
Have you bid, them in to church to go?
Ringing salvation's bell

Is life to be gained in churches?
Is true! the bible taught?
What verdict, pronounce researchers?
God's faithful few report?

When God to you was still unknown
Christ's church, was not for you
Without Jesus, you walked alone
Where death, had you in view

Will you laugh or cry tomorrow?
Will you spare thought today?
While on earth the time we borrow
One's soul will come to pay

Is God alive, or ever been?
Is Heaven in the sky?
What can be heard, what can be seen?
Or felt by you and I
