where others see sadness
i see the bringer of light

Soul shattering,
Heart breaking,
Mind failing,
Sanity out the door.

Sometimes I wonder
and sometimes I plead
to know who it is
when you look at me

It's not death I fear
Even though it's coming forever near
Its the pain I fear
When death is here

I look all around me
and what do I see?
No known faces
not one here to see
...

Do you swear to protect me?
Do you swear to save me every time?
Do you swear to help me?
'Cause if you don’t, then don’t waste my time.

I hide myself
Behind a river of lies;
No one knows
What lies inside.

Fear
Anger
These emotions are too much
Take away the pain
