Falling

On a cliff, the grass and rocks feel comforitable below my bare feet.
The wind blowing against my face as I look out into the ocean.
The last site I shall see.
I turn now, the wind blows against my back, urging me to take a step back.
The white dress around me flows as if I am already a ghost.
Deep breath, sea-salf fills my smell and taste as it flows through the air.
I take a step back off the cliff.
Memories swarm my mind and it feels that I stopped time just to examine them.I see smiles, and laughter, and I feel serenity.
Then almost as violently I come back to a reality of my mind that pulls me down into the dark abiss of the horrid memories that has caused my pain.
Im falling again, down, almost to the ocean.

Almost home.
