Teardrops

The tears are falling
Floods and flood, never ending
I remember the pain and the hurt
I turn to my friend
My only friend
The knife
Its daunting me
Teasing me
Daring me to re-open my wounds
Gleaming in the light
I shouldn't, I won't...
But I do
My head is cloudy as I cut
Deep...
...deeper...
...and deeper still...
Nothing will stop me now
I put the crimson knife down
My pain and hurt dripping on the floor
I loved you
I did
And you did this
My blood is on you
I close my eyes and enter...
An eternity of sleep
