Our Eternity

Eternity's hand grasps the goblet
You hold to your champagne lips
And dares you to drink
It's sweet nectar.
"Hold me close," I say, and you
Draw near with your lean, taut
Frame, wrapping me within the secureness
Of strong arms while I shiver from
The ecstasy of your gentle touch.
You soothe my sorrow and quietly
Whisper into my ear, "fear not my
Love, for I have tasted our eternity."
