in sky diving, recruit at first must learn
to pack the parachute - and how to land,
when to pull the cord, - how not to panic;
before the right to feel such heights has earned.

a thought too deep to ponder,
like a hill too steep to wander,
did i persist to fathom it
would it have set me free?

i am everyone
and no one, in particular.
i am many, yet none

a shameless fabricator to whom truth was strange and lost
as headstrong as a mule and periphrastic speaking of his glories
his journeyman achievements all were added to and much embossed
...

i surrendered a thing quite precious to fall
so deeply in love with you, my friend.
such a forfeiture none had the right to call
their own, tho i gave with no pretend
...

that which i believe
and what i can't deny
two seperate parts of my heart occupy
...

complacency knows not contentment
the two are as opposite skies.
while one sits in blatant resentment,
(tho covered in bland alibis) ,
...

bliss
so rare
graced by moments like this
bereft of care
