Namrata Das Adhikary Poems

The things are deteriorating,
My heart- it's paining;
My eyes- it's bleeding,
My limbs are swelling-
...

I was eight, a man bereft of life
Cradled in his shroud, preparing for a flight;
Into the world where no one would cry,
From mortal to eternal, bidding a goodbye-
...

Of lust lost it's pride the day I touched her,
Mind seeking solace with the thoughts of what we're;
Memories contain the realm of Paradise
With you in my heart and a guilt like deice.

Bane Or Boon

The things are deteriorating,
My heart- it's paining;
My eyes- it's bleeding,
My limbs are swelling-

The life is crazy,
With sweet despondancy..
Completely shattered by the luck;
Way to go- too many pieces to pick up!

The loving disdain,
The heart-throbbing pain,
Which pours down as winter-rain;
Immobilizes- but feels of vain.

The open vicinity,
The shadows of eternity-
Of which the night is dark and bright
Makes the roads deprived of light;

The sinful inundations,
The wild intonations-
Showers a glimpse of the moon:
Keeping me aside 'Is it a bane or a boon? '
