Lovely and young, green and white,
You'll notice just looking out:
'Spring! Really? What a delight! '

It's time to slip from everyday gown
To something elegant - an evening dress
Exposing to fresh winds downtown
My neck and arms for kisses and caress.

The tulips shut their tender petals
To guard the secrets of the day.
The path turned into stinging-nettles -
I watched you going away.

Gentle summer country evening.
Someone's quick and casual glance
Full of secret hope and meaning.
Silence. Whisper. Happy chance.

When I come back in would-be incarnation
God will give me the right to choose my way.
