Truth

Once I was told by a religious man
The Trinity is an unknowable mystery
I don't agree and say, "know it we can"
Despite religions long history In God's image we are all created
Indeed all children, women and men
But take a look at how we've rated
The status of women, then God's spirit is a trinity
Father, Son, Holy Spirit, all male
True through all infinity
Shouldn't we respond, "No Sale!" Women are missing, "Why?"
They are human beings, too
They live on earth, not in the sky
They're a part of me and you The human trinity, also, has three parts
Id, ego and superego are their names
Let's define them as good starts
To ending silly mind games Id is the original sin
Because as animals we are born
This is true for all our kin
No matter how much we mourn Ego is maleness in all of us
Whether male, female or child
Self-important all full of gall
Not completely emerged from the wild Superego is our ideal self-picture
And is female, whatever our gender
She hardly ever lectures
Instead, she's loving and tender
