Nathaniel Aaron Bryant Poems

Hearts grow lonely till next summer
Awake this love which fall makes slumber
I just hope this kiss lingers a year
To taste you and not know fear
...

Gasping, now just out of reach
This passion no scholar can teach
A nearly soundless atmosphere but I
still hear your beating heart
...

White wilted petals drift down and land on cold linoleum floor
It's evident she is tired but her yawn proves it even more

So restless she slowly makes her way to daddy's reach
...

Kisses from the lips of the one I love
Lying in the cool summer grass
Eyes focused on the cloud shapes above
To spend every day like this, is all I ask
...

I can barely breathe this time
We've kissed so long my lips are dry
And when you take my breath away
These trembling lips have nothing to say
...

I'm reminded of the first time I saw your face
A memory not at all easy to erase
But thats not why I liked you at all
And thats not why my heart seemed to fall
...

The portraits lying here, they don't even do you justice
You're more beautiful than any canvas could prove
These pale colors will never show your skin so smooth
I touch up your smile with this red and white mix
...

Days pass by like years
I can't seem to hold back these sharpened tears
...

I saw a slight glimmer in your eyes as I walked to you

'May I have this dance', I said as I reached for your hand
...

Exhausted thinking of you all night
Wishing you were here to hold so tight
I have thoughts of you, if only they could be embraced
The thought of our last kiss gives my mouth a bitter taste
...

I lie here beside you and think to myself
I could never picture me with anyone else
I feel like I could kiss you now and all
would fall into place
...

Soft, sweet, velvet lips and eyes that long for a kiss
Yet so often it is the smile you wear I miss
And the enchanting flicker in your eyes as we meet
With the breeze so calm and the music so low
...

I see you from the window
You're staring at me far below
All that I can think of
is that I'm all that you can think of
...

Yesterday was the first day I've ever wanted to die
I'd rather be dead then watch you leave
There has never been a moment to pass me by
that I wasn't thinking of you please stay with me
...

I'll take your breath she said
As her crimson lips touched my head
I can't help to think there must be a better scheme for my day
And if not will every hour of my life proceed this way
...

Frost bitten tree tops
but its cozy indoors
The hot chocolate never stops
as the au fait fire roars
...

Its much too complex to write out how I feel
Your much too beautiful for the ordinary spiel
I've already crossed out half a dozen lines
I suppose its hardest to write the
...

Save that kiss for the next time we meet
Cuddled all alone then my leg softly grazes your feet
So unplanned, like a falling star
A moment so eager to pass us by
...

Tear drops lead from your darkened room
The setting of our afternoon
On the bed you sit with a smile
As you think back a while
...

Unaware such tragedy awaits
Lives in a balance overweighed by fate

The Best Poem Of Nathaniel Aaron Bryant

A Lover's Vow

Hearts grow lonely till next summer
Awake this love which fall makes slumber
I just hope this kiss lingers a year
To taste you and not know fear
Till then dream, dream of me
Dream of what used to be
Remember the love we shared every day
Know soon we'll again be that way
Don't waste your tears on sorrow
Only cry for the joy of tomorrow
And when I kiss you a year from now
Our lips will be reminded, a lover's vow
