I am 15 years old and I have been in love with poetry since I was about 6 years old. I want to some day be a famous poet or at least be talked about. My goal will soon come true; I believe it will and I'm shooting for the stars to make it happen.)

Her

All they do is pick and pick,
They don’t think about how she feels and how she has felt.
They don’t know what she’s been through,
But me I think I know.
When you look in her eyes you can see the pain,
You can see how terrified she is.
Terrified of being herself,
Terrified of talking, looking, feeling…
But once she opens her mouth,
You hear the most beautiful, sensational rhythm.
The love in her voice,
She’s extra-ordinary.
But will you ever know that?
No, because you haven’t even taken out time to try and talk,
Communicate,
But see me, I have.
And her, oh she’s amazing
You judge her because of what she wears,
How she looks,
But you don’t stop and listen,
She’s like the car in the road,
Look both ways before you pass,
But she rolls up and causes you to stop,
Stop and realize that she may be a somebody,
Stop and realize she maybe a reason you should have never went.
