We are insects, a part of the game

I feel weak, I don't have much time
My life has changed from its usual rhyme
I wanted to do so many things
So many places thats left unseen

Killing hate this man to blame
What did I do to cause you pain
You made us sit and watch your crime
You made us think that it was time

Him to seek this only blame
Him to feel this killing pain
Stand up for who you once were
Just before through respect and care

Life gets worse before better
Life is rough with every letter
So many gates to take your pick
But only one gives you a kick

Read over the novel again again
Over and over it's just the same
The same old jokes the same old lies
The untold stories of our lives

I miss the times when we were a family
I can hear my mother sing so peacefully
I miss our garden and the smiles of love
I miss the adventures and the singing doves
...

Rest in peace nanny, you've gone away
We'll always think of you every day
We'll miss your smiles and your moaning too
We didn't think you'd go, not this soon

Northern Ireland in the early days was not the place to be
The bombings the killings, things that could be seen
Terrorists of both sides fighting for their ground
This place was hell, no peace was ever found
