Nestor David Armas Poems
Wanting what we cannot have, This rings so true, As I look at you. Nothing I would not do,
I put you on a pedestal; Not because you are unattainable; Or because you are in a class all your own, I do this because I want you to be special;
A Call of Duty...
Beauty in her possession; Is a power no mortal or god can wield,
Show me the other side Where the grass grows wild,
If I can't dream It does seem, I'm constantly And inadvertently,
In between me and you There are volumes untold We the bookends Kept the stories within,
She isn't beautiful, She's the glint on dew
In a dark place My heart hid away,
I Was Never Ink...
I wish she'd miss But she'd rather diss,
One of Us...
There's a bright Finger nail in the sky; I like to imagine The man in the moon
Bared my soul And burned
One tear For you my dear
I want to run Through a field, Embrace the sun With open arms,
What good Are all the words

Wanting what we cannot have,
This rings so true,
As I look at you.
Nothing I would not do,
For a minute with you,
A sweet smile,
A kiss or two.
Skin my knees,
Scrape my elbows,
To cause myself pain
Of your innocent winks,
A plea I send up,
What can I do?
You make me wonder,
Make me dream,
Make me ponder,
Make me scream.
I look everywhere
For eyes of your hue,
I want you, you, and only you,
Had I ...
