Nicholas Paradis Poems

From nuts and seeds,
To trees sand forests.
Tender earth sprouts,
To towering heights.
...

We laid in a valley turned blue by the stars
Caught under the cold breeze and moon light
We waited for answers to life’s hardest questions
To come to us from the black and season our souls
...

Could you imagine a worst end
Than slumping on a slope
Alone, coated with snow,
Just you and the moon
...

The Best Poem Of Nicholas Paradis

Rooted

From nuts and seeds,
To trees sand forests.
Tender earth sprouts,
To towering heights.

From roaring chains,
To dusted plains.
The fall of earth's giants
Into our loaded trucks.

From flatbeds of logs,
To pneumatic factory gas,
The mass craft of caskets
Stocking man's funeral parlors.

From the grips of pallbearers,
To lowering lifts leaving —
Delving down into that tender black earth,
Back to where life comes and goes again and again.
