Up and down and all round and round

In for a penny, in for a buck
I just have never had such luck

When my very life I tried to end

A wanderer in an empty world
Deep shadows over all unfurled

Lost and lonely circles of light

Move back behind the walls
Where no one ever calls
And no teardrop ever falls
...

A new year dawns
The old one passes
Amid wild cheers
of screaming masses
...

Stretching out forever
Filtered sunlight of gold
Beneath a canopy of green
The tale as yet untold
...

The lines formed bravely upon the field
Trumpets sounded and drummers rolled
Tender youths determined not to yield
Faced each other in attitudes bold
...

With a roar and a cry of 'Cease and desist! '
They stoked the fires, man I'm so pissed
Don't tell me what to do, it's not your place
Dare not or I'll cutoff my nose to spite my face
...

Memories spin round and round
Names of friends no longer found
To whom I gifted a piece of my heart
Gone but always of me they're a part
...

I cackle with glee
At your misery
Blood drips from claws
I defy humanity's laws
