Alone

Alone in a room
physical movement is not in existence
but voyages across the unpredictable terrain of the mind do
constantly moving, thinking, about what was is and will be

Alone,
silence and joy
the ability to enjoy isolation
and to think
of the pleasures and obstacles of life

Alone,
unbearable sadness
icy storms within
that cannot be comprehended
and warm sunlight
that should be enjoyed together
like the most juicy of oranges in the summertime
alone
