Who do you blame
For the hands that steal
For the crack you live for
...

Went to a poetry reading
Was sitting next to a being
It wasn't a man nor a woman,
I swear, but the thing had a bit

Who Do You Blame

Who do you blame
For the hands that steal
For the crack you live for

Who do you blame
For your violent ways
For the drug babies

Who do you blame
For being black
Is it a curse
Or blessing
Who is lazy
Who is always blaming

Who is like a Jew
Who is doing wrong
And cries wolf

Who do you blame but
The liberals you vote for
Who owns the ghetto
Who blames the hand that feeds

Who do you blame
For the murders in your backyard
Who blames the cops
And crime sky rockets
Who do you blame for the bloodbath- by your very own sons

Who do you blame
For your race-bathing leaders
Who's legacy have they stolen
Who's being blind to common law
Who do you blame for fatherless toddlers, those welfare children

Who do you blame for being kept in the ghetto
Like animals are kept in the zoo

Who, who, who do you blame
Who burns my soul
Every time someone asks 'How about them black people'

Who is black like me
Who wears my skin
But doesn't carry it like me
Who doesn't think like me

Who worships money
But gives it away to the same-
Whitey who you blame for your misfortunes
Who the lawyers for
Who the bail-bonds for

Who leaves it at the grocery store
Who buys all that's drugs
Who kills for it

Who is in modern world
But lives in third world
Who must be kept in the ghetto
Who's cancer to hard working folk's-
Property values

Who goes and crime follows
Who is unwelcome
Who's planned parenthood for
Who is lost and unreasonable

Who do you blame
For being lost cause
So much for the legacy of-
Tubman, John Brown, Williams Still...
And what they fought for

Who remembers the civil war
How many lives was lost
Who was who
And who fought against who

Who do you blame
For wasting education-
courtesy at no cost
Who do you blame for your downfall
Who on purpose hurts themselves at work
Who is free-loader

Who angers me every time I wake in the morning
Who is black like me
But doest think like me
Who, who, WHOOOO! ! ! but you! ! !

Who belongs among the most-
brilliant in mind, in all mankind
Like Powell and Ben Carson
But who despise them
Who follows Al Sharpton
