Absence of turbulence in the quiet zone
They fall at the shore with thumping sound
Ebullient like prime time youth in the ground

Standing at the foot of the hill and looking at myself with astonishment
Color transitions have taken place from green to orange with a significant shift
Mind wavering between green of the past and soon to be forlorn
Ornaments that I felt proud of will be totally gone
...

Completely oblivious that there is a tomorrow and everything moves in cycle
Remorse, repentance and frustrations fill my mind today why I am in this battle
I feel tired of fighting against these people who hardly care for others
They are preoccupied with their interests in stead of acting as sisters and brothers
...

Mother is the embodiment of love, truth and spirit
Father is source of all comfort, consolation and grit
One fosters the physical strength and nourishes the mind
The other takes all the loads of life, and puts all problems in grind
...

It is time for an old friend to say good bye as in duty bound
Reminiscence of friendship and familiarity will chase me as a hound
Not able to bid farewell as tears well up in eyes feeling attached
As days passed by have taught new ways to adapt and stay engaged

Baby in the air has a sweet smile fixed on the parents
Ready to land in the arms outstretched in care and calmness
No sign of worry, anxiety or fear in the face at all
Sure his parents will protect and not allow to fall

Are we looking for reasons why we should be thankful or grateful?
Is it the mind or body or the intellect fooling us to feel we are not full?
Are we looking for the joy somewhere hidden in the jungle or the forest?
Like the deer in search of sweet fragrance running amuck and wild without any rest?

Human mind naturally inclined to achieve perfection often ends in fear and anxiety
Frustrated with the level of accomplishment away from a state of sobriety
