A Drink With Something In It Poem by Ogden Nash

A Drink With Something In It

Rating: 3.4

There is something about a Martini,
A tingle remarkably pleasant;
A yellow, a mellow Martini;
I wish I had one at present.
There is something about a Martini,
Ere the dining and dancing begin,
And to tell you the truth,
It is not the vermouth--
I think that perhaps it's the gin.

I love it! I shall learn this by heart whilst drinking French Martinis. Even if I have to drink seven of them...so be it! Hmmmm where's my Gin? There it is on my bedside table....off I go lol: -)
