What Is A Forest

What is a forest?
I think you know,
Nature’s gentle green palace,
Her stronghold,
Her private room.

Is that all you know?
Well then, let me enlighten you,
A forest is Nature’s creation,
Her way of saying
That no matter how much mankind advances,
She will always triumph.

Did you think forests are gentle?
Let me broaden your knowledge.
A Forest is for brutal beasts to roam,
Where the weak areat the mercy of the strong,
Where order is weaved out of chasms of Chaos through vengeful violence.

Still think Nature’s that good fairy you read when young?
Well think again.
A forest is not a place where animals are supposed to be-
A forest is a place where the strong dominate,
A forest is battlefield for warring beasts,
Where our home lies no more.
And it is her creation.


Still think you’re out of her clenches?
Be wary!
Her clawed hands reach out
into cities as well.

For what is a city
If not a forest of bricks?
