Tumultuous Conchshells woke my sinful body
With my long sought love of the Godhead
I tore the rapacious grin of the resting demon inside me
And tonight I was a storyteller robed in velvety majesty of the mystical dawn
...

A cowherd boy I was today
For what looked like an infinite time
Sipping the succulent gusts
I lost a cow on a hill top
...

Do you know me?
Often I mull over a trembling thought
Had I faced the Kaaba
Would it have been different?
...

Uncork your soul
Let the urn of your beliefs flow
Who needs a stupa to prostrate in front of Divine
Breathe in the floral beads of nature

Turn Me Blue

Tumultuous Conchshells woke my sinful body
With my long sought love of the Godhead
I tore the rapacious grin of the resting demon inside me
And tonight I was a storyteller robed in velvety majesty of the mystical dawn
There was a time and a very pure time that was
Nightingales conspired with the hubristic raindrops to steal the exquisite youth of the country belle
Unaware of the new enemies, the beauty danced like ripe raspberries waiting to be savoured
Every zephyr was drunk with the fragrance of her breath
Your beauty is withering our morals, yowled the village men
We must set you on fire, only a demon can pollute a pure soul
I am as harmless as the silver of the crescent moon
What beauty are you talking of?
So starved I am of my Divine
An ever thirsty flame of unrequited love
Water burns my rose-limbs
Fire freezes my aching heart
Bring the venom of the black serpent and turn me a dark shade of blue
For I've heard that Sham swims in the blue water of the naked soul
And the embellished bosom of my youth, savour it
Only vultures feed on flesh, my known ones
The seer and the seen sip the never ending wine of the Divine
