As bright as the sun it may be
If not, let it be the end of me

The words to explain how I feel
I can't seem to find
It's driving me completely out
of my mind

It’s difficult to imagine
It’s hard to understand
How someone so wonderful
Can be taken from this land

Don’t say a thing
Just hold me close-up
Lock me in your arms,
And hear me sigh

I’m flying high
I’m feeling free
But nothing much that I can see
I feel cold

As I say my prayers
and lie down in my bed
I still have thoughts of you
running through my head
