The Insomniac

There's nothing to see at half two in the morning,
It's dark world-wide.
No broadcasts, transmissions or light.
The world is sleeping tonight.
No sound or movement
But twists and turns in bed.
There's nothing to hear at half two in the morning,
It's silent world-wide.
Even leaves and snow will not fall
In the ungodly hours of AM.
Darkness has shrouded a world of light.
The world that doesn't sleep is sleeping tonight.
There's nothing to see at half two in the morning
But insomniacs twisting, turning and yawning.
Nothing at all at half two in the morning.
