Paul Wanjiku Poems

A I offer a penny for your thoughts
Paramount && Bold enough
To no comparison
And in every battle and every scar
...

Please just listen
Tonight, under the
flame of this moonlight
There I want to lay my thoughts in a blank paper,
...

When that time comes, I hope i'll be there
As the Lord shares His rewards to the faithful ones, I'll still be there waiting to get my share
Cause I know I did right, like helping the needy and those out of sight
And though things were quite tough, I still spared my time to make someone laugh
...

He loves her so deeply but
has never told her,
just not yet
She dreams bout him everynight
...

A Penny For Your Thoughts

A I offer a penny for your thoughts
Paramount && Bold enough
To no comparison
And in every battle and every scar
Tha leaves no promise
That i'll live up to my hopes
So i write of what i know
And maybe..if only maybe
Some day our hearts
Will meet in these sacred words...

Struggling with sweat and tears
With debts and dead pride
Of nature's scorching anger
I heed to the days
When the rain would and maybe will fall again freely
On these emiciated hills
Of my darkened heart
From a penny of my thoughts I hope
That the gift of Age will colour my world
In deep and rich verdant green...

I walk like a stranger
In my own world
With a bewilderment and to
Torment any soul
That tries to differ with my ways
Hoping that my greed will be replaced with goodness
Despite my weakness...

But i stay in love with my life
For it's the very blood
Running through my family veins
And by each passing day i hope
That the nature's wise ways
Will whisper their secrets
To ease all my pains
And return to my new ways...
