What did the Turks do at ANZAC
When the Diggers left not looking back
Did they wander through the trenches and dugouts
Wondering in the end what was it all about

He got up slowly from his seat
With shaky knees it was quiet a feat
And stretched his back to straighten then
Shuffling over to the the kitchen bench end

We did our duty and have been laid down in Foreign Fields
For these years our families have refused to yield
Wanting us to return on our final journey as it is made
To our home of the wide brown land - our glory will not fade

To live a life for yourself without a care

When not paying tax becomes a hole of honey

What is normal for everyone?
Is it strength and fairness under the sun
Is it having enough to eat and shelter too
Is it waking up in the morning knowing what to do

Which one do you want which one do you choose
You want one that's good and you can't loose
It used to be a Holden, Ford or Chrysler in the make
And your choice for these local brands I find is a bake

Do your duty as you can see
It is quite easy as it can be
You know right from wrong
But the pressures of working
