A Dog Called Stanley (The Over Friendly Terrier)

</>Stanley the dog had a good deal
He got plenty of snacks and a lovely square meal
Running around wagging his tail
His day was complete upon chewing the mail
But things were hanging by a very fine thread
Which was about to turn Stanley’s life on its head
The cat it did suffer from amorous advances
Stanley did revel in taking some chances
But his owner had plans for to settle him down
Which would leave poor old Stanley with a mighty big frown
To the vets he did go with not much of a clue
But when he came out he was minus ‘his two’
Reports have been spread about Stanley’s demise
And the thought it does bring a tear to my eyes
His coin purse now empty he lays there to wangle
And wonders how to avenge the loss of his dangle! !
