Bathed my waking face
I rose my arms

There was once a teenage boy
Who loved the story of Troy
As it sieged and plotted his blood
As it bled fresh from a flood

And took a deep breath,
Stared into the morning sunshine,

1 walked along the way
as morning dew freshly held onto
these tips of the blooming roses of purple and blue.
1 started to hum,
To sing a song that came from deep within
1’ve been waiting for so long
For You.
‘til this day,
‘til this night,
1’d cherish from across the blues.
imagining the plot set like a dream
imagining the red, silk veil across Your lips
For with my heart has sung a love,
with unspoken words,
only You would understand.
1’d be
walking aimlessly ‘round the day
imagining the thought of two,
the angel and the guardian,
the bride and the groom,
who held dearly right on cue,
as they ended With an unknown mark,
yet reopened With the very love,
With just this singular kiss.
Without a creak,
With a tear,
Without a thought,

as the night seemed to cry wishes for You.
