The Northern Sky

The day is gone
The spirit of night has taken over
The slowly frosting grass emulates the crunch of fall leaves
What trickles into the pitch black sky?
The queen of night's light spreads her arm's of spirit and dance
Colors bursting from the seams of the universe
Dancing along the Milky Way telling stories of great warriors in battle
The stars twinkling asking us questions
Questions of deep thought and inconceivable conclusions
Questions not pressured on oneself during the clear blue sky
Only through night's endless shifting of constellations and planets
The question is there spilling through the fabric of the sky
A faint whisper hidden and tucked away
What is beyond our world?
