I hold on to them too long
I ruin novelty

Will you dare to ask for more?
Love is a funny creature,
It has a distinct feature.

Hubby snores, a midnight train,
Left arm is giving me pain,
Eyes wide open, energy drain,
Can't fall asleep, I speak plain.

Pride comes before the fall.
Learn from mistakes, that's all,
The bigger the Ego, the harder you fall,
So stand firm, stand straight, stand tall.

Rounded sun so very bright,
Fading fast on soft snow white,
Slowly, creeping windless cold,
Anew and the passing old.

Dance like no one's watching,
sing like nobody's listening
because they aren't
Everyone hates you.

Time has passed, now to celebrate,
A loving partnership that's so great!
