A friend is someone who stands by you through
life’s ups and downs.
Someone who wears no false armour or hidden crowns.
A friend cries with you during your saddest of hours,
and rejoices when you reach your highest towers.
A friend will never cross the line with the one you love,
but will have a listening ear, when you shed those tears.
A friend reaches out to shake your hand but
touches your heart wherever you stand.
