01 16 05 Poem by Marilyn White

01 16 05

Sitting here watching
The snow fall with out
You here with me
I wish you could hold me
Because I am so cold
To the core I wish I could die
I will never forget
That you told me that
And the fact that you lied
To my face when I asked
You what the matter was
And you just looked
At me with those eyes
Deep inside I wanted to cry
But then I remembered
I don’t know how
Could you each me
So I wouldn’t feel the way
That I do like nothing matters
And that world is not ending
