02 24 Poem by Marilyn White

02 24

If I try to catch my falling star
I think I may fall with it
It’s another day in the year
Nothing really all that different
But it’s that time of year
Again you know that date
On the calendar that everyone
All talking and shook up about it
But there is nothing more that
You really can say or do
But just to sit back and for
Once I watch out the window
As the world passes me by
I try to find the light but
It just is too bright today
I can’t really see the future
But I do know how I feel
I know that it could be better
But what more can I ask for
At time like this
