030610 Sushi Rolls Poem by Manonton Dalan

030610 Sushi Rolls

slowly sipping tea
waiting a treat of sushi
i'm having an earful from a lady
across the table; maybe anxiety
a bowl of fresh salad for her
i'm relieve and very please

a big beige plate came our way
line with rainbow and volcano rolls
garnish with thin slice of ginger
wasabi tenderly place on the corner
chopstick edging kikkoman bottle

fine arts perfected on delicacy
so colorful i'm hesitant to consume
but i can't resist my buds succumb
to every gentle bite a muffled sound
popping tiny fish eggs, colored brown
