032110b So Many Of Them

i followed my ball's flight
it broke my heart when
it start to fade faster
down to ever waiting lake
where huge turtles frolic
so many, i can't count

all their limbs are out
balancing to stay afloat
looking at me as if i'm lost
my mind walking with club
they must have seen like me
they stood their ground, wary

water is dark like their shells
no sign of other living roaming
if there was it should have been
eaten or starve to death therein
food chain competition, serious
like we are, many unconscious
