waves pushing stubborn rocks
wetting greenish, cranky crabs
between cracks filled with bubbles
oyster grows filtering ebbs and flows
hungry cat scout the surroundings
stranded fish could be hearty meal
water sprays elephant grass
beneath is green turtle's nest
with fence and markers rest
footprints came to view, sand
some leave shells, seaweeds,
orange peelings and palms
when sunset comes, bats fly
nourishing on mosquitoes
keeping lovers from ugly bites
behind those tall sheltering grass
where beach mats is commodity
and silence is buffer for secrecy
