042011e Crossing Scene



this morning we were
all file up in one corner
of street waiting to cross
policeman for got us
he was so busy waving
at incoming cars; purposely

we looked at each other
made lots of comments
some got upset, some called
i patiently stand their wondering
one smart guy ' we are here'
policeman 'so do i, thank you'
