042710j Raise To The Sun
i feel the softness of the grass
breathing its warm on my back
i close my eyes to enjoy transfer
of energy from earth's core thru
as if billions of electrons flow
i arc to heaven and moan slow
i sit up bend my knees; lotus
i'm stroking my hair in circle
warm by the heat of the sun
i slowly open my eyes to see
silvery ripples from the sea
i put my palms on my chest
let out a long slow breath
