050711g Routine Poem by Manonton Dalan

050711g Routine

every time i walk through that door
life starts rolling forgetting who i am
for eight hours of my life, workman
making ends meet with grit of teeth
plenty of sweat so as strong patience
to ward off evil lips; need to be cleanse

i smile by sunset while driving east
surely dreaming of nice bath then rest
i crack open my windows to let in fresh
swirls around carrying dust and pellets
cover my eyes 'til everything escape
not a good idea trying to escape heat
