tall barb wire fence imposing
line the length of the building
i have to walk a good two miles
to reach a place where i'm working
nice exercise when the sun is rising
i've been doing this for three days

i come early to avoid heavy traffic
which seems to clog-up highway
coffee shop's line is not yet long
sometimes i have a chance to watch
great orange ball come out of clouds
and it looks like sitting on the ocean
