052910f Red-Winged Blackbird



bright red on their wings
just above their shoulders
the rest is all shiny black
they go in pairs teasing
other birds mostly crow
or they must have an egg

i sit for few minutes
watching them picking
on very stubborn crow
i love them flying. hoovering
over that poor fellow
but most of all that red logo
