back in the island sleepless night
bracing themselves for their knight
for every stroke is a breath taken
for every hole is a step to heaven
prayers of promises flow a river
this could be hope to be together

mighty as knight unyielding to none
march those hills with irons in hand
for every broken tee a step closer
his partner is broken since opener
gives him silent comfort to be better
a push of putter world erupts, it's over
