Distance, is nothing before Love
because the Heart can sail–
the mighty oceans Can’t
divide our Minds apart.
Upon the vastly black water
Star will be the Sole guide
no Course, no Directions,
but Lost– never will be.
Apart, – you – Distance – I – am here
we‘re closer than ever
– you and I– all Ready
Pulled in to– Shore of Mind
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It was written in the style of Emily Dickinson back in High School. Long Distance Relationship. It ended unfortunately, so it seems a little sarcastic. But I liked it a lot.
