ANGEL:
'ANGEL FROM ABOVE'
I open my eyes and lift my head
To see an angel standing by my bed!
Wind blows gently through her hair;
Is that a halo floating in the air?
Who's this angel in my sight,
With wings graced by heaven's light?
For with each beat, my heart takes flight;
She looks so lovely - so beautiful and bright!

Then cautiously, I take a chance;
I hold her hand and start to dance.
She stole my heart with just one glance,
Like I was lost in some strange trance.
She is so sweet - when our eyes meet,
It's like heaven in a heartbeat.
Her eyes are blue, just like the sky,
And I think I'm about to cry.

Thank God - I fell in love
With an angel with wings like a dove.
You’re an angel sent from above,
And I can't live without your love.
Her lips are red - her skin is fair;
Her heart is gold just like her hair.
The angel I see standing there
Is beautiful beyond compare.

Angels are all around;
You're the fairest that I've found.
Your voice makes my heart pound;
I've never heard such a sound.
I don't wanna be alone anymore;
Are you the one I've been waiting for?
You are an angel from heaven up above;
The one I've spent my whole life dreaming of.


'GOD SENT ME AN ANGEL'
When I went astray,
God sent an angel to lead the way.
When I traveled through life unable to stand;
God sent an angel to hold my hand.

When things became dark and nothing was right,
God sent an angel to show me the light.
When I was a slave and longed to be free,
God sent an angel so I could see.

When it seemed like my whole world was falling apart,
God sent an angel to heal my broken heart.
When I looked for the truth, but was too blind,
God sent an angel to open my mind.

When I was alone and my tears filled with pain,
God sent an angel to shine through the rain.
When I reached out my hand and found no one was there,
God sent an angel to answer my prayer.


'YOU ARE MY ANGEL'
Was it so easy to forget,
Or was it just by chance we met?
What did I say? What did I do?
How did I fall in love with you?

You held me close when I was scared,
And showed me that you cared.
You stole my heart with just a look;
One touch was all it took.

You are an angel, but only I know;
When you're happy, your halo starts to glow.
When you look down from heaven to the world below,
I can see you, somewhere over the rainbow.

There's no treasure there, but something more grand,0
The warmth of your heart - the touch of your hand.
The taste of your sweet lips on mine
Is richer than the finest wine.


'YOU'RE HEAVEN ON EARTH'
I'm in love with an angel;
I'd pay any price
To kiss this angel,
Who's so pretty, sweet, and nice.

I must have done something right
To hold you in my arms each night.
I love it when you hold me tight
And tell me it will be all right.

You came down from heaven to show me
There's more to life than I can see.
Though it's a place where I can't be,
You're Heaven on Earth to me.

How can a light that burned so bright
Fade away into the black night?
When I'm lost in the dark, you are my light;
Will you be my angel tonight?


'PRINCESS ANGEL'
In every tear my angel cries,
I can see heaven in her eyes.
There's a halo around her head;
I wish she were mine instead.

At her beauty, I simply stare;
She is so soft - so fine, so fair.
If I should die, I would not care;
I feel at peace when you are there.

You are so perfect and pure;
Are you for real? I'm still not sure!
The way you walk is like a lure;
I don't think I could find a cure!

You are so innocent and sweet,
Making me complete with every heartbeat.
And in my dreams, I hope and pray
You'll open your arms to me one day.


'ANGEL I NEVER HAD'
You came into my life one day;
I didn't even have to pray.
But then my angel flew away,
And nothing I said could make her stay.

I began to take for granted
My angel would always be there.
It was when I thought I lost her
That I really started to care.

No one can see the tears I've cried,
But I still don't know why you lied.
Heaven knows how hard I tried;
I just want to be by your side.

My angel left me all alone;
I have no love to call my own.
It makes me sad - it hurts so bad;
You're the angel I never had.


'EARTH ANGEL'
There is a girl who gets her way,
But doesn't care what people say.
She is so kind - so nice and sweet,
The kind of lass you'd like to meet.

There's no bright light when she comes near;
If you look close, you'll see a tear.
She is somebody you might know,
But she doesn't have a halo.

The angel with the broken wings,
No one can hear the song she sings.
Her halo has been torn apart,
Twisted just like her broken heart.

I never meant to make you cry,
But now I just want to know why.
Another tear drops from my eye;
Stars are falling from the sky.


'MISSING ANGEL'
Heaven's missing an angel,
The best one they ever had.
It's too bad that she had to go;
It's really sorta sad.

Heaven's missing an angel,
The best one of them all;
She took good care of everyone,
Never letting them fall.

Baby, you're my angel;
We'll never be apart.
However far you are,
You're with me in my heart.

You will always be my angel;
I know that this is true.
Someday I will go to heaven,
So I can be with you.


'TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL'
It's such a mystery,
How she saw something in me
That I never knew was there;
She found it easily.

Don't ever fade away;
Please say a prayer for me.
Show me the way;
I feel so lost and lonely.

In these lies I would hide,
But then you took my hand;
You led me to the truth,
And helped me understand.

You are the miracle
That made me who I am.
I was touched by an angel
The day you took my hand.


'ANGEL OF LIGHT'
I had a dream one night;
An angel of light
Whose wings were white
Led me to a bright light.
With the wind in her hair
Being blown around everywhere,
An angel dances with white wings;
It's beautiful - the way she sings.

Armor up and mount your steed;
God be with you and grant you speed.
Take a chance and climb the castle wall;
Lift your lance - be careful not to fall.
Your face turns white with fright,
But you have to be brave
As you grasp your sword tight;
You've got a girl to save!
