1987 - Childhood Memories
I remembered
The faint squeals
That erupted from
The babbling mouth
Dripping with drool
I remembered
The pudgy hands
Gripping hard
On the arms
of protective parents
I remembered
Tottering on
Mother's high heels
My lips scarlett with
Her broken lip rogue
I remembered
Oh, I remembered
As I looked through
The family albums
of 1987
